Works of Rachmaninov, Scarlatti and Brahms "When the idea came to me to record this CD, my natural choice was the two composers whose works have accompanied me over the years : Brahms and Rachmaninov. It was, however, Scarlatti's sonata in A major, K.208, which was the decisive inspiration behind this recording. A work I find so beautiful in its pure simplicity that I could not help but choose it as the openinig piece."
