Sonata No.3 in F# minor, op.23

Thanks for coming along!

In this session we focused on Scriabin's earlier works and, in particular, his beautiful third sonata.

Helvetica Light is an easy-to-read font, with tall and narrow letters, that works well on almost every site.

I also recommend listening to Scriabin's 'Poem of Ecstasy', his Piano concerto and some of his Preludes op.11 for solo piano.

If you're brave enough to listen to some later works of his more atonal style, I would recommend his tone poem Prometheus and his 5th and 7th piano sonatas
